My bargain Black V6 Conn SE
Finally got around to taking some pics today after a wash and wax. Car has the belts, plugs, waterpump, stat and oil change yesterday and I was finally able to push the revs coming back on the 60 miles journey, very smooth very nice and 36 mpg.
If you had read my previous thread this was bought as a "gaskets gone" ebay bargain, I had found very little coolant in it when I picked it up and then found no fan working which was replaced with a 2 speeder. Lates stated yesterday that the waterpump was leaking so that's where the water has been going. it was running cool about 80 degrees before the new stat was fitted yesterday but now runs at 94-95 which seems about right to me. So V6 with sunroof and HK, serpents with Pirelli P6000 tyres with plenty tread (need refurbed next year) projectors with wash all very nice. Already done walnut dash and original rover handbrake handle Still to do - fit 2.5 torpedo's, and bullet mirrors and fit croft's door cups and give her a good machine polish next spring. After the bad luck i have been having with my CDT gearbox leak nice to get a bit of good luck for a change. Last edited by STUBIE; 6th November 2011 at 14:13.. |

Looks great and a bargain if I remember correctly
The gear knob looks unusual,i suppose a little spare time and a bit of dye. |
