Default Chrome roof rails

Would this be a good idea and has anybody already done it?

Zeb,

I've mentioned them on here before and would have had them on my Tourer had they been available but they never have. My other half says that chrome roof rails would make my midnight blue Tourer look more like a hearse than it already does.

If a pair of standard roof rails turn up I might be tempted to buy them and have them chromed but I'm reluctant to chrome the existing ones in case it doesn't look right.

One could always try wrapping them in tin foil to see how they would look?
