Angry Paypal plantpots

Ordered some bits off Rabbett Rover, paid via Paypal, Who then kindly duplicated the request, so instead of £70 odd quid, they took £150 ish quid - Though Rabbett ROver hasn't been paid - and this is by no means a go at him or anything.

Ring the Bank, "sorry we cannot help its not our fault", Ring Paypal, "Sorry its not on our systems, Ring your Bank"
............ Come to mind.

What a useless bunch of morons we have to deal with on a daily basis, bring back teh good old days of a paypacket with money in and sack the Banks and all their mindless drones of Online Financial so called assistance, its about time we where freed from dependancy of Leeches and incompetent blithering fools with a Combined IQ of a dead penguin.

Rant almost over............

All involved are buttwipes, Bank say they cannot release the Money because Paypirates requested it, even though, it turns out that the payment was requested during an error on their site, at which time it said online in their Muppet Message "Don't worry no request for payment has been made" ??????

Bank says, we cant give you it till Paypirates cancel their request

Paypirates say we cannot cancel the request as one hasn't been made

Bank says they cannot give us our money until Paypirates cancel their request........

Round and round and round and round and round and round and freakin' round

They can be a nightmare, my business account always has them holding payments in reserve (just in case I do a runner I suppose), which is fair enough; but they decide how long they hold it for and when it will be released

How dare they make interest on my money sat in their account and then take fees as well. Grrr I say.

Hope you get it sorted soon though.

After similar problems with P/Pal, what i do now is purchase goods, still via PP as requested by sellers, but as a guest and use a credit card. There have been no problems doing this plus you have the credit card protection and a month to pay 'em back!

I don't use Paypal anymore, once someone called Miss Laird managed to empty my bank account with paypal. Penny didn't drop at the time... Miss Laird... mislaid?
I could see on my statement that there was a massive amount going out of my account, but it hadn't gone through.. I rang pay pal who said maybe I am lying and have autherised payment.. My bank said the money hadn't left my account yet so no fraud had taken place..

I was scared, livid and all those other emotions rolled into one as it left me overdrawn...

The money went out...

HSBC to their credit PUT the debited balance into my account, unleashed their own internal fraud squad and from what they told me went to town on pay pal.
Paypal then refunded me, HSBC took their money back.
Happy ending...
