KV6 Engine Fault
Hi Guys,
I have a ZT190TT which is powered by a BMW lump. I have a fault code for 'coil bank D' but does anybody know what cylinder this refers to? |

Don't know the fault code I'm afraid , but please clarify which engine you have
If it is a kv6 , then you don't have a BMW engine . If someone has swapped badges or engines , then you have the BMW diesel which doesn't have coils ???

I would say it is a kv6 as he states its a zt190?t and if it was a bmw engine he would have a glow plug problem as your right the only bmw engined zt is diesel,so with that inmind its a rover lump,

I thought it was BMW as the electric have the odd BMW markings.
It is a 2.5 V6 lump. I'm pretty sure its a faulty coil but not sure if its one of the rear bank or front bank. My code reader just says coil bank D? |

Sorry i can't be of any help to you on your problem,as you say parts of your car are bmw but they only used there own 3 series engine in the diesel all petrol models are rover engined,i would have thought someone like Bigruss or marinabrian may be able to tell you which one of your coils are at fault, cheers

I'm fairly sure ,but not certain , that "D" refers to "4" , and that this is the middle cylinder on the rear bank ( 1,3,5 on front and 2,4,6 on rear ) .
Hope this helps
