Oh Yes, would make somebody a very, very nice car indeed, but it really doesn't need a bodyshell, it is repairable. Don't forget that SMC has complete sides for these from rear wing right through to 'A' pillar

I'm watching it, but think it'll be potentially an expensive route into 260 ownership

Jack, You may think this, but I couldn't possibly comment!

Hi Guys, I think this a good thread to make my first posts here on the 260 forum. I've been a member of .org for a few years having owned two 190s but have always wanted a 260 really.

Well, I won the car in question on Ebay and it is being delivered this Friday. I already have sourced all the body parts I will need from a chap who was breaking an x power grey 190, in fact, I've bought most the car and it's already in the correct colour which is saving a fortune.

The 260 is being delivered straight to a garage/bodyshop owned by a friend who will assess it properly as soon as it arrives and let me know exactly what is going to be involved.

As yet I haven't managed to get the drivers side rear trailing arm so any help with that is appreciated and perhaps a complete rear hub would be good. I'm hoping completing this project will be possible within budget and I'll end up with my dream car at the end of it!

I will be posting pictures as the project progresses.

As Colin says get yourself over to two-sixties, if someone on there does not know where to get the bits you need no-one does.
