Default Rover Diesel Service Intervals Question?

I took my car today to the Rover dealers (only main dealer will do) and I have noticed that the service intervals after 135000 miles in the Rover handbook phase out after this.....?

Well what happens after that because I have just had my 150000 miles services and the next one will be 165000 miles, but no information in the Rover handbook, do you repeat the process or what?.

The car drives like a dream now she has come back, But I like to know what bits at what interval should be changed, but only 135000 miles bar humbug!

Does anyone know?

The car will still indicate if a Oil Service etc is required and when Brake Fluid needs replacing but yes,
basically same as before.

The servicing schedule should continue on the same basis as previously. The annual job lists can be designated as A, B or C. The servicing pattern is A-B-A-C, which then repeats ad infinitum. In effect a 4-year long pattern, where list C is list B plus extra jobs (cam belts, OAT swap, etc).

Here are the complete lists:

It would be nice to think that all ex-MGR depots stick to the original plan, but in reality I suspect very few do. They do their own thing in general and you'll almost certainly not get the signed off job sheets as above.

I have and do get this sheet you have handed over on screen tonight, I check every single aspect of it also. They do tick every box ,if appropriate and x if not appropriate.

The car never misses a beat. I certainly tell shes been given a going over. I never send her in until 14900 miles intervals even if the dash information states overtime.

Reason shes designed for 15000 miles, i'm having 15000 miles. Never had a thing go wrong on her tonights was B section.

It makes you wonder, The car owes me nothing, and i mean nothing...costs me no repairs and i was told tonight next time around my back discs will need replacing. It amazes me, the last set were changed on 75000 miles and these are going beyond that set 160000 mile area for the next set which would mean these have done 85000 miles.

The faults on this car upto 7.5 years of ownwership ZILCH.
I just love the thought it was the best £18500 POUNDS i have ever spent!.I now am so found of it I cannot bear to see removed from service.

It costs me around £250> £350 per service costs, per main dealer prices, but I dont care she gives undeniable service of 22000 miles per year with out fault and never failed a MOT.

I think bah only around £500/£600 pounds per year to keep on the road and her value has not really dropped in the last 2 years. Its driving without cost this is...no depreciations.....no HP car costs.....no MOT failures.......no owes me nothing....

WHAT FANTASTIC CARS......WHAT A FANTASTIC BRAND "THE ROVER".

SERVICE AND RUN WITH IT.............

Yes I agree mate...But Rover are Class cars one of a kind, slagged off for nothing. Great car company. I just hope that TATA reintroduce the Rover Longside its Jaguar brand.
I WOULD BUY ONE
