Excellent, A Company (Employee) with a sense of humour and had the time to bother to reply over a 1p shortfall/foreign coin.

Back in 1992, I received 3 letters from my social security office implying they had over-refunded me 0.01 FRF (French Francs!). The last letter was registered mail. Each time, I had phoned and was told it was the computer getting looney. Finally, and after receiving a letter from the bailiff, I went there to sort things out.
It did cost them 2 normal letters, 1 registered letter, bailiff fees for 1 cent... Then they complain about their deficit

I had BT Mobile (Securicore at the time) chase me for a £300 odd CREDIT I had on an old account.
It went on for 2 years and in the end they tried to take out a county court judgement against me. I filled in the counter judgement form claiming that I owed them no money and in fact it was the other way around. Still it went to court. The bloke (Judge or whatever) looked at us all then at the paperwork and correspondance. Looked at the BT representitave, Looked at the paperwork again. He asked for someone else to read it to them as in his words. "My glasses must be faulty". Then he turned to me and stated "Mr Williams. Would you like the honours of telling Mr xxx why you will not be paying a penny against this account or shall I?" I smiled and asked him to do it. He then went off to explain to Mr BT man what a negative balance on a bill means.
