Question 03 R75 Club 2.0 CDTi Front seat connections

Evening all, I'm hoping someone can help me? I've fitted a set off half leather seats from an 04 MG ZT today,
I had to use thr pre-tensioners from my original seats as the plugs are different.(03 R75) However, I didn't know that the side air bag connectors are also different?
I looked at swapping the air bags also, as the original seats were easy to access to remove them, when it came to leather set ,it was not so easy.

Therefore my question is? what's my best action, cutting then re-connecting the plugs that I need from my original seats, (my concern is does it matter which way the wires are re-connected)? or go back to What I started and swap the air bags?

Any advise is greatly appreciated.
Regards
Kev
