Just to confirm it's Cowley

Look at your VIN 11th letter from left
M = Cowley
D = Longbridge

Have a look at this thread about Wxxx COA reg. cars.

http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...ad.php?t=21242

A large number of both painted and unpainted body shells were sent to Longbridge just before production finished at Cowley.

These bodyshells were to shorten the time delay in getting the production line up and running at Longbridge.

Although I don't know if these bodyshells had Cowley vin. no's or Longbridge vin.no's. Also, what the sill finish would have been.

Mine too. However, mine is a high spec export, so maybe things are different in this case :lol:

Production ceased at Cowley in July 2000 and began at Longbridge early October.

"The 2,400 employees at Cowley have been working flat out over the past few weeks to build up a stock of 2,600 75s and 6,600 bodies to carry Rover over the break in production."

Some of these were unpainted shells that were painted once the paint shop came on line at Longbridge.

If you find the large white sticker for the suspension component type under the rear seat (passenger side) it will tell you the build date
