Default front bumper removal

how hard is it chaps? gotta get round to changing the o rings next week and dont think I can face booking it in the garage yet again.

i replaced mine this afternoon ,peace of cake ,eight 10mm bolts along the top of the bumper /slam panel two 10mm bolts at each corner inside the arch ,and about ten screws along the bottom ,then six 13mm bolts and two 13mm nuts hold the cross member on four 10mm bolts hold the head light in ,and one 8 mm bolt holds the the intercooler hose in place , oh and don`t forget to look for the secound o ring inside the intercooler realy is very easy

Best tip....remove the under tray turnbuckles and not the row of screws on the bumper.

Surely you have to remove the screws as well? I removed the turn buckles and the screws other wise the bumper wont move forward

Nope......remove the three screws on the corner air ducts and it comes off

And, particularly if you're a "bumper removal virgin", don't forget to protect the front wings immediately above the bumper.

I used masking tape, with a layer of gaffer tape over it, as I wanted the protection of the gaffer tape, but didn't know how easy it would be to remove.

thanks fellas. I found a thread and it doesnt look too daunting as I dont have to remove the slam panel. can anyone suggest the best place to get the egr breather pipe from?

Talking O Rings

Hi Read post by austingarages how to do it without removing the bumper it took me about 3/4 of an hour search P.C.V and O rings

found it. thanks for that. would it still be easy enough to remove any o rings that have fell into the intercooler though?
