Default CDTi Clanking Noise

Ok so i'm getting desperate to fix this noise.

Happens when:

1. Very cold <5 deg c
2. When the engine is labouring at very low speeds - e.g. moving up a hill
3. When going over poor quality roads but only when coasting

You can't here this noise when the car warms up or when it is moving forward or backward quickly

I've tried moving the car on the drive with engine turned off and I can here a clicking noise from somewhere in the engine - could this be the problem?

Oh btw I've had the passenger front suspension mountin replaced and this appears to have made it quieter but not sovled the problem.

Please help

Thanks
