Airbag light
Hi,
I have an airbag fault light and was wondering if anyone knows how to identify which one is the problem? |

The light can be triggered by either the airbags or seat belt pretensioners. A T4 (or TOAF?) will identify airbag or tensioner but not sure if it can tell which side, I know the tensioners are a single circuit. 9 times out of 10 the reason for the airbag light lies with the underseat connectors (present under both front seats), investigate them first, disconnect them, spray electrical cleaner and reconnect/disconnect several times to remove any contamination. Try that first before exploring other (potentially expensive!) options.

As above its usually the connections under the front seats. Pscan is also a good diagnostic tool for Rover, and will tell you which airbag is at fault. Cheaper still buy a 2.2 ohm resister off eBay to fault find.
