Default Clutch Question

Evening all,

Since I bought my Rover 75 1.8 last year it has always been a fine art to pull away from a standstill in 1st without any judder.

Sometimes it seems fine, other times it seems to judder no matter how hard I try to keep it smooth.

I am just wondering what the cause could be, as I feel like it has gotten slightly worse in the last week or so.

Was chatting to a client in work today who used to drive Rover 75's as company cars back in the day and he warned me the cost of a new clutch will be enormous as per his experience - though I believe his was a diesel.

So just after some advice while simultaneously bracing myself for a bill I really could do without right now.

Thanks all
