Default Plenum Spy-Hole Mod - Help needed Please

Been looking for a large BLANKING GROMMET to perform this mod, all to no avail. Well none in my locale !

I have a 63mm hole-saw to do the job, but cannot find a grommet larger than 25mm - which is nowhere large enough!

Anybody got a 63mm (inner diameter) grommet I can buy, or know where I can find one?

Thanking all in advance....

Tomorrow...

Put in new turbo - intercooler pipe
Pierburg MAF and Synergy2 box.

Sunday, clean the car

Go and buy a 25mm spade bit......63mm (I would suggest) is a bit too big

With great respect --- please buy a 25mm wood drill --- this will make a big enough access hole and use an easy to find grommet as you already state.
Hope this helps...

Martin

I thought I'd read somewhere that someone had used a 79mm grommet.....?

Trouble with me is that I wear glasses, permanently, And have found it difficult to see into small dark holes ().

But I will take guidance... I've put that job off for tomorrow.

Try this company http://www.grommets.co.uk/index2html
I sent them an email asking for a free sample (made up some story about needing quite a few but had to test one first)
Went for the largest.
