they are quite a good machine but just a couple of points. You may already know but its a rotary which isnt as safe as a random orbit like the G220, so advise practicing on scrap panels before letting it loose on the 75. its also waaaay overpriced. look at www.kingdomtools.co.uk the orange silverline polisher is cheaper and has the same features save a slightly higher rpm start rate but this doesnt make much difference. also invest in proper pads like the meguiars or 3m pads, because the ones you get with it are poo. Pm me if you need anymore help mate and i'll call you or you call me whichever. I could type all day on the subject.lol.

you can buy the g220 with pads and polish for about 180-200. dont be scared of the rotary, its fine when you get used to it but its better to burn an edge off a scrap panel than the 75 til you're confident with it.

The orange Silverline polisher seems fine. I bought mine a few weeks ago for under fifty quid delivered from ebay. I've tried it once on the boot with the limited (but fairly good quality) polishes I have and it did a nice job. I just haven't had a good full day to give the car a good going over yet.

Exclamation

The best polishers are "Rupes" but expect to pay 3 times that price but you get what you pay for!

I didn't think it necessary with only doing the boot lid. Oh how wrong I was. I need to get all that residue out of the drain channels too!

and the rest! £250 is a good price for a rupes. As you say they are brilliant. they are 4 or 5 times the price of a silverline but TBH not 4 or 5 times better. I had a rupes for a weekend and loved it, brilliant machine, but to be honest i'd rather pocket the £200. But i am tight.lol.

Back to the taping up bit, if your using a g220 or udm/pc then it saves time by not having to wipe polish residue out after, but with a rotary it saves money on repairs, hitting a panel edge or chrome trim at 1800rpm aint good.
