Just a set of bullet mirrors and some c pillar trims away from a Cowley car now! Nice job.

I've often thought about doing the sills and lower parts of the bumpers black as I quite like the original look of the Cowley cars - even though the more common consensus seems to be that body coloured sills are best

Cheers,
Karl.

Im going to invest in some chrome mirror covers in the near future. I like the cowley look with the black sills it makes the car look a bit more lower and longer.

Well Colin, that looks exactly like what the Cowley cars look like, sills painted with black paint.

Do you have a during picture perhaps? as I'm curious as to how that corrosion cell you posted a picture of was treated before the POSH paint job

Ground it down with a flap disc on my angle grinder the sill was solid so i treat with rust treatment and a skim of filler then a coat of primer then hammerite satin black anti rust paint. It could possibly come back Brian but hopefully its sorted. If it comes back i,ll get the rust cut out or replace the sill.
