Default Possibly why T4 options shouldn't be given to owners!

Stumbled across this earlier on a FB group.

The original poster was demonstrating what could be achieved with a certain un-named software, in terms of enabling options. See what the wrong software, in the wrong hands can do.

Sure you can buy a kit for 25 on eBay.

I like it. I'd love a switch to active it.

There are some unusual unmarked cars around... nobody would believe that a Rover '75 would be used nowadays. I understand a silver one was about 15 years ago near me!

Default rover 75 police lights

being the individual who posted this video i was only showing what this "cant be named software can do " no one is forcing anyone to use it , but it is a handy tool its not perfect by no means but a lot of the options to activate or disable features on our cars can now be done by ourselves. I personally wouldn't use this software for anything more serious ie remaps that's one for the t4 gurus

PS i don't believe i gave you copyright for my video lol.

That actually looks quite impressive, especially if you owned an ex-Police 75 or ZT and wanted to provide a bit of a display at shows

But is this 'lighting program' already built into our cars hardware, meaning it's a simple on/off activation ? Or does it all have to be manually input to make the effect ? (...this is just idle curiosity, not going to do it as I'm sure it'd be illegal )

Thanks in advance

That is not a T4 option however there are dealer options on Freelander for Police, ambulance and hearse

Make sure you tread very carefully using the software that does allow you to enable this "feature" though

Wouldn't fancy those light options, but if this software that must not be named (and I think I know what you're talking about here) can disable the anti-hijack locking, I'd love to try it. No T4 owner near me unfortunately so can't go down that route.

I think I'd be a bit worried about breaking something else on my car though, like Brian's 160 remap.

Why can't the software be named ? That sounds very childish to me. Everyone knows it's TOAF
