Hi Ken.
Fortunately I don't use Facebook, Twitter or any of the things that's been highlighted in that article on my HTC Android phone.
Security must be at an all time low. Mind you MI5 have been listening to your phone calls so they will have all our debit card details when we've paid over the phone
Not a thing is secure.
I'll just listen to Radio 4 on my non hackable Bush DAC90 tonight

I`m pretty much the same, if I go on FB it`s on the PC.
They are welcome to listen in to me all they would here is me talking rover I do buy online quite often, maybe we could use them for proof of purchase if we get a bad seller, however
the snooping did not do any good for the downed jet liner in Egypt did it? they only spotted the "chatter" AFTER the crash.

While the fake apps have been detected on compromised smartphone users in the US, Germany, Russia, Mexico, Jamaica, Brazil, Iran, Sudan, India and Indonesia, it seems that the best way to prevent your device from being infected is to only use Google Play and avoid all alternative Android app stores.

Not yet detected in the UK and avoided by making sure to only install apps through Google play.

Of course FUD does help make sure users stick to using Google's own app store ... where you may have to actually pay for the right to use some software.

Funny thing is that the majority of the software listed is generally free through the Google Play anyway. So why get it anywhere else unless you can't (or won't) access the Google service.
