Default Happy birthday dad

He would have been 74 today, sadly he passed away 3.5 years ago.

IM not too proud to admit I miss the old guy everyday

I feel that, time is a matter of personal relief in times of grief but never a bridge.

Like you Duncan, I miss my dad everyday. It would have been his 87th birthday last week but sadly he passed away nearly 4 years ago.

He is never far from my thoughts and if I can be half the father to my kids that he was to me then I will consider that a success.

I don't think time heals but I find I remember the great times we had much more now rather than his last few painful months.

Same here. My dad passed away 9 years ago, aged just 70, and again, I miss him every day.

Both my parents died 9 years ago, I still miss them both massively. My dad would have been 81 this year if he was still around
