Default Just found my 2005 Rover 75 What Car review, here it is:

I wrote this in December 2005 on the What Car website , its still there, and I now own another (mine was a tourer btw heavily loaded with kit)

"My car
My fabulous gold Rover 75 has just come to the end of its three-year lease, but I can't have another because the leasing company won't deal with Rovers anymore due to the liquidation situation - a pity, because I would have another without hesitation.

I have enjoyed 120,000 trouble-free and comfortable miles in this high quality mile-muncher, and I consider that I was lucky to have the opportunity to use this car as much as I did.

I cover around 800 to 1000 miles per week, and the Rover never missed a beat. The build quality proved to be top class with not so much as a squeak or rattle, and it still feels taught and responsive. Fuel economy is great and so I am currently looking for a used one as I am going to miss it so much.

There are two tiny negatives, however, which are totally swamped by the car's attributes. These are the poor steering lock and it does eat tyres, but buy one today. Mine is a 135bhp diesel version, and I had the Rover aftermarket upgrade. It's the used bargain of the century and enjoy it."
