Default front bumper gap

Hi,is there any adjustment to make the gap between bonnet and front bumper smaller.have just had the two bonnet catches off to clean them and the gap appears to have gone bigger.have put them back to same positions,regards

Yes.. Normally if you can get someone to lift the bonnet as you do up the fixings, it should fit. You also have the same option when fitting the crash bar. Worst case scenario, elongate the holes with a file...

Lowering the bonnet alters the wing to bonnet position. It won't reduce the bonnet to grill gap without spoiling the other. If you want to do it, I'd suggest altering the spring catches by one turn at a time.

As previously said, if you over adjust the bonnet catches you will lose the wing to bonnet alignment. Over adjustment is also likely to jam your bonnet, and most of us know about that.
Best method is to take front Bumper off, and adjust the crash bar upwards, which should also bring the slam panel up.

Did mine last week by inserting thick washers between the plastic bumper and slam panel, effectively raising the bumper.
This method did not need any other adjustment to bonnet catches, bump stops etc.
