ECU swap

I am thinking of having a punt on an ebay car with a dead ECU. What would be involved in putting another ECU into it?

I agree......first confirm the ECU is dead and if it is get the experts to wave their wands, repair may still be an option

MGZT-T MK1 front and rear ends fitted, specialist- components in line thermostat mod done, retro fitted cruise control, Mk1 real wood dash fitted, real walnut steering wheel fitted, Pioneer DAB radio fitted.
