Default Rover 75 Connie Diesel 2003....37000 miles !!

Hello All.

After much soul searching I have decided to sell my lovely Connie Diesel.
I am the 2nd owner and have owned the car 2 1/2 years.
Reason for sale ?
I want an auto....preferably a ZT Diesel.
If anyone has one or a 75 for that matter I'd be interested in swapping...but it must be as good as mine or close !!!!
Car has done a genuine 37000 miles from new and is nigh on immaculate.
I have only seen one or 2 as good as mine.
Car flew through its MOT Saturday with no advisories and I have just taxed it for 6 months as well.
I put a Black Oak dash in last year as I'm not a fan of the Walnut Dash....and I fitted a aftermarket stereo...the original was very basic.
I have the original dash and stereo if someone wants to swap it back.
The original service book was lost by the original elderly owner...who had his license taken from him due to ill health....but there are loads of Bills and receipts...and the original bill of sale to prove the mileage.
I also have the MOT history....its never failed one or had an advisory.
For further details PM me or just ask on here.

Price £2800

About half that price would be about my limit unfortunately.

OOH - if it only had has high spec as my auto with 37,000 miles, I would have done a swap. Cruise control is essential for me though

Might be easy enough to 'retro-fit' Cruise Control (depending on the model). Here are the bits you need . .

A set of steering wheel switches,
One CC ECU (fits behind glove box)
Switch to go in the dash
Replacement dash surround (with the extra hole for the switch .. . )

. .. and 'off you go' . .

I'm sure I saw a really good 'how to' on this very forum

All the best

Some cars already have the loom fitted in place along with the brake and clutch switches.

I have all the parts ready to fit,but dont have the loom

Good luck with the sale mate, I will say I've had the pleasure to have seen this car close and personnel, and its a beauty, a true straight example of a well cared for rover 75, if I had the funds I would snatch your hands off, whoever does will be very happy ..yam are you sure you do not want a zt 180.?
