Default Renault sunvisor or 'Why the French Lost the War'

Ok, so we pop out in the Laguna last night, wifey wants to check her face as usual..

Illuminated sunvisor, so not just 'posh' Rovers that have them!

Next pic is from directly south to point out a glaring, or not so glaring pills up!!!

Jeez.....one not so happy lady

Gotcha, basically the light is useless as the mirror cover obscures 90% of it when you want to use the mirror, not something I noticed in my school run car as I do my lippy before leaving home, but something wifey spotted straight away.

Ah! Now the mists clear.

I dont usually bother with lippy during the week anyway.

There is a very nice Laguna tourer like yours round the corner from me.

I think you quite like the Laguna. The Meganne that shares the driveway does exactly what it says on the tin, and no frills..

It's a decent specification but no illuminated sun visors.

I do like it, a former colleague had a 2.0 auto in lovely metallic red, much like the fables Fire frost. Looked stunning. Went along comfortably with that French "mmmmm" sound and feel. The tourer has to be one of the best looking estates ever.

Not a 75 rival of course, but stylish and comfortable. What a shame the quality and reliability was dire. I used to take the local NHS pool cars (all Renaults) to the local dealer for repairs, and asked them what to look for on the Laguna.

"Dont go near them with a bargepole" was response.
