In Vegas there is so much to do it would take you all year. All the hotels are like theme parks for a start then there's the Stratosphere with a few thrill rides on top or you can jump off on a controlled decent from just below 1000 feet. Outside Vegas it is a short drive (less than an hour) to the Hoover dam. Also the Grand Canyon is a must with a drop of 4000 feet to the canyon below, the views are spectacular especially from the glass bottomed walkway. One thing if you are driving to the Grand Canyon it takes up a full day and make sure you have enough gas (petrol) before you set off, Oh! and the last 40 odd miles are on dirt roads.

We spent three weeks in California last year and it was awesome.

Enjoy

Hi.

My brother is just back from 2 weeks there and was very disapointed with it, The fact is if you dont gamble there is very little else to do, It's everywhere there's no getting away from it. Also the drinking law's are different so drinking on the street's is alowed so be carefull. I also have a work mate who went for 10 days last year and after 3 he was ready to come home. Havent been myself so dont know but hope you like it..

I spent a part of my honeymoon in Vegas, along with visiting San Francisco, Hawaii, Hollywood and Yosemite National Park.

Las Vegas, is Disneyland for grown ups, there is tons to see and do, we took a helicopter trip to the Grand Canyon and landed on the Canyon floor for a picnic. The Cirque Du Soleil have a fantastic water themed show called 'O' which is spectacular - it is on at the Bellagio, and was stunning Cirque Du Soleil - 'O'

We're not great gamblers, but had a ball on all the one armed bandits, which they even have at the airport, and the breakfast buffets are incredible.

I'd go back again like a shot if I had the time and money. Enjoy.

The heat there is dry and when you get off the plane it's like someone has a hair dryer on your face. It's an Alladins Cave of things to see even though the gaming thing can be in your face. Have a lovely time.

The FREE evening show outside Treasure Island is well worth a visit as are the Bellagio fountains, Fremont Street http://www.vegas.com/attractions/off...ontstreet.html but take a bus as the walk there is through a rough area.

The Grand Canyon picnic is well worth it about £120 per head from memory.

I'm not a gambler but a $10 budget gave me a full nights entertainment on the slots, of course I lost it all by the end of the night

St. Peter's square in the Venetian has some lovely restaurants

The shops in Caesars Palace are an eye opener.

Plenty of shows of course http://www.caesarspalace.com/casinos...entertainment/

Above all have fun

Default What ?, Can't find anything to do in VEGAS ??

We did 10 days there for my Second Sons Wedding @ the MGM Grand, and we stayed in the Tropicana across the road

We don't do gambling.. but you fancy a snack pop into any casino , do a tiny little bit of slot machining for a few coins , use the buzzers on the machine to call over a hostess. ( usually barely dressed in some costume ,) ask for drinks and snacks and you will get it free ( well we did last time), as they don't want you leaving for food, want to keep you playing . slip the hostess a few dollars tip and you're done !! , worth a try !! we did this every days and then had a proper meal in the evenings.

tis a bit warm there !!

Also in our 10 days we barely scratched the surface of things to do

Plenty of themed Hotels to visit,
Not a trekkie but the Star trek experience is really fun.
plus a grand canyon trip of some sort ..
visit circus circus for coaster rides. also usually one in most Hotels too!
lots of museums ( some a bit tacky) like it all is! but thats the fun!
Ride a in NAScar with Petty !!
could go on & on !!

there's loads to do , google it have swap up ..and get a list or plan sorted to pick from on the day

you won't regret it , we are going back again very soon!!
