Sorry but I'm afraid they fail only emblems allowed are national I'm afraid. They must also have the name of the company issuing and a british standard marking.

Hope to meet on the 17th

I have a similar plate on my 75 & it has just passed MOT.
I asked the tester how they were applying the change. The answer was"with common sense - the use of corrupted names & fixings used to alter appearance would be a fail"

Depends on when the vehicle was registered.......

The font and spacing is fine. You could in theory use some black tape to form a number plate sized rectangle with the badge outside and it would probably pass.

BTW, I took my bike for an MOT, and I had an old tour sticker on the bottom corner, (about the size of a match box) and he advised me that it was technically a failure.

If it is a Post 2001 Registered Car that would be an Automatic failure Tatts, I'm afraid.
It does not show Suppliers name and Postcode or the BS/EU required Number, or a Permitted Emblem..
Some MOT stations are letting the slip through but even the Police can technically book you for it.
A member on here yesterday was failed only on his Numberplate the car passed fine!

I'm afraid that your tester was incorrect, it is written in black and white and not open to the interpritation of the nominated tester.

A full discription of the minimum nrequirements is available on the VOSA website.
