Default Some garages are very nice... :)

Jean told me the ZX engine oil light was on... So I called in at my local garage to sort out a time/date for it to be serviced. (two weeks time) Garage owner then gave me a gallon can of oil and said Stick that in for now, just to be safe. And refused any payment for it. .

Nice one, a refreshing change from the normal getting ripped off by garages thread. Hope all is well when it goes in for its service

The mechanics and owner are brill in that garage. Last year I had a bad connection on the starter motor, RAC sorted it but flattened the battery..

Was due to go on holiday so asked if the garage owner to get me a new battery. he tested mine and said it was fine.. I told him I was going away and needed to be sure, so he loaned me a new battery for the trip. and put it in the boot...

He proved to be right, my car has been fine ever since, (and he got his battery back)..
