Default Is this a ferret?

Just found this cute little fella wandering around my garden.

Wondering if it's a ferret, it's very tame and doesn't look too old to me.

Reckon it must have escaped from somebody's care.

Thanks, never seen either close up before so wasn't sure.

Somebody from the RSPCA has just been and picked him up.

Its A fitcher ferret, descended from a polecat. If you have to house it temporily dont be tempted to feed it any bread and milk, or milk on its own just water, and it will get along quite nicely on a raw egg, or even some dog food.

Thanks for that, didn't need to feed it as the chap came to pick it up not long after I posted.

Someone had found another one last night just over the road from me as well.

He was a very cute little fella, would come right up to me.

Didn't touch him though didn't like the look of his teeth.
