Any one Internet savvy with time to spare?
If there is anyone with a reliable internet connection, a bit of surplus time on their hands (a few minutes a day), is reasonably competent in email, has some basic skill in the editing of a website and can absolutely be relied upon - then I'm on the look out for a meticulous volunteer. There is absolutely no reward or payment involved.
For the past 11 years I have organised and run a major international amateur radio event. The event is run entirely via email and the events website and for those eleven years I have been running it on my own, tied to checking it and maybe updating it daily from Christmas through to mid June. The closer to the dates of the event it becomes, the more crucial that the site is kept up to date. Basically what I need, is someone who can relieve me of some of the responsibity occasionally, to allow me some time away, safe in the knowledge that the whole thing will not fall apart. The site is here - http://www.ukradioamateur.co.uk/imw/ The page of the site which need to be regularly updated is here - http://www.ukradioamateur.co.uk/imw/page4.htm A little more detail upon what is needed is here - http://www.ukradioamateur.co.uk/imw/page8.htm

You neglected to say the site is written in MS Front Page 6.0, to update a volunteer will need to have the same software available. Additionally you would need to provide your pages to them or they would need to do complete rewrite. Access codes to your FTP server will also be required to update on your behalf.

The actual editing is fairly straightforward, usually a simple matter of copying lines of data from previous years entries - though not always.
