If you are using HP software for Printer and Driver,
It needs to be loaded before Printer Plugged In. |

iirc there has been quite a few problems with Outlook in Vista, and driver issues are ongoing even with the major third party vendors such as HP but rapidly lessening.

Microsoft now Admit that Vista has had the Worst ever take up of a OS By Business users with less than 4% upgrading, or having it Loaded on new Machines.
A lot of this is put down to incorrect bad publicity, and about Drivers and People awaiting SP1 which will NOT now be released just an updates package? For over 50% of Businesses their Machines just won't run it and the rest stick with other OS still mainly NT4, XP Pro, Unix etc. Basically it is being used by Domestic Customers. |

I have vista home premium on this new PC and Office running fine, but then I am using office 2007, so I would like to think it would work ok. I did read that vista does not like old versions of office, including most versions before 2003 and that included office XP.
I also cannot use my PDA but then its a really old Palm Vx and was connected via the com port and my new PC has no com port... suppose it would be time to upgrade to a newer one now, but its like the old pair of slippers I dont want to throw them out

I can Confirm that Microsoft Office 2007 all versions and Office 2003 all versions are the Only ones that are meant to work with any Version of Vista.
Microsoft tell you to Upgrade!! |
