I know its been asked before..
Im not the best at wiring and stuff etc. My new 2004 MGZT 190+ bought from a member on here ahem...the air con fan does the on off on off jobbie.
Can someone tell me is it ok to leave as the a/c works fine but what needs doing and more importantly anyone on here willing to do it or recommend anyone if needed and what sort of price am I looking at.. Im tempted to leave it as its ok but dont know whats involved. Im in Coventry. Many thanks in anticipation! Sean. Last edited by coab; 12th January 2012 at 03:51.. |

Hi. The air con fan is also the fan that comes on when the engine needs to be cooled down.nothing to worry about.

Hello Sean,
I have to disagree with b152krz. It sounds as if you have the engine cooling fan circuit with a resistor, is that correct? If so, the chances are that the resistor has failed and you have lost slow speed. If you do nothing, you will eventually lose the fast speed as well and your engine will overheat. Talk to Jules. He can sort you out. Simon.
