Default Door seals and scuttle clip

This will probably get moved to the "wanted" section, but thought it would get read more on the "general" forum.

I recently bought a 75 tourer 2002 for my better half. We bought it knowing it needed a few bits doing to it. Ive already ordered a load of parts and done some work on it to attempt to bring it up to scratch.

However, today ive noticed that it needs a new drivers door rubber seal, and a nearside rear door seal. Also I'm missing a windscreen scuttle clip

So can anybody help me with these parts. Cheaper the better as I cant afford to keep chucking money at it.

Many thanks

You need to say whether you need a 'fluffy' finished drivers door seal, or the later rubber type. They vary according to the age of the car.

Speak to Corin Messenger - he may have the older type.

Just been out and looked.

Drivers door needs the felt type seal that is fitted to the door frame of the car.

Nearside rear passenger door needs the rubber seal that actually fits round the door itself.

Oh, and they're for a tourer.

Scuttle Clips are Part Number EYC101470PMA

I doubt you'll get them from anywhere other than a scrapper or Rimmer/Xpart.

Stick parcel tape over them when you flip off the windscreen panel to get at the plenum. Easier with the rodding hole mod.

I actually found one on the ground in a car park!

I'm quite careful when doing the plenums on my zt. But the tourer was missing one when we bought it.

I think they called the door rubber seals 'velour' on the early models, the confusing fact is my connoisseur SE is fitted with these and being a 03 model it is well into project drive.

Regarding the scuttle clips,i have a few of these kept for the problem you have mentioned..at the moment my garage is in a state of disarray but if i can find them,it will be winging in your direction.

Wow, had no idea they were that expensive. Would it be possible to remove one from scrapped car and reuse it?
