Default Ware RoverTech anyone heard of them ?

Lo all, with my current car problems I thought that if I could then I'd get the opinion of a Rover specialist but I have never heard of one around here. A couple of Google searches showed up the above named garage and I would like to know has nayone heard of them are they known etc.

If anyone has any experience of them please let me know .

I dont mind paying anyone to fix the car , im not after a freebie but obviously I cant justify spending stupid money on it. If annyone knows someone who would fix the car for sensible money pleeease tell me.

Cheers

Mas

I used Ware Rover for the 1st time about 6 weeks ago for an inlet manifold change and MOT (which resulted in new rear coil springs also being required).
Although they did a decent enough job, it was in my opinion very expensive - they charge £69+vat per hour labour!
For this reason I'm not sure I would use them again.

Sounds rather expensive , exactly the sort of money most of the garages round here seem to charge. They all seem to make a job thats 2 hours in a main dealer book = 3.5 hours too funny that isnt it

Thanks Mas

Why don't you take a pleasant drive to sunny Burton upon Trent and visit Nick at Austin Garages? His rate is a very reasonable £45 per hour, he does the job quickly, knows all the short cuts without compromising the quality of his work, and you might even get tea and biscuits while you wait!

Now someone like that but just a bit closer would be ideal ! , I know Burton on Trent and have driven there before but I think that is a little too far to be honest

Cheers

Hi Mate, give Twin motor company a ring, Stanley Smith has been a MGR mechanic all his life and has been a specialist since they went belly up. They are at 1. Pound Lane, Sutton, Cambs. Tel 07884 226716 He is of the old school where you turn up with a problem, he has a look and gets an idea whats wrong tells you and then gives you a price.

85miles

I live in London and drove to see Lates in Rugby for a Cambelt change. Worth it to get the job done properly and at a fair price imho.
