Default Copying the 75

I work for tescos as a dotcom driver and as I go to peoples places and have a quick nosey at there cars. Anyway I went to someones place and they had the vw toureg and along the bottom of the doors they have a chrome strip along just like the 75.also a lexus 4x4 was the same.Also are there any other cars which take some cues from the 75

Maybe the Rover 75 took it´s cue from the Triumph 2000/2.5 PI range that had the chrome strip along the bottom. Many cars have had that so I don´t think it´s a 75 inovation
