Default (For Phil - lol) How to Restore a car proper !!!

ok, I appreciate this might come under advertising, but I am not. I dont know the seller and am only posting purely to show the level of care and quality of the sellers work.......

This is an Ebay item for a Triumph Spitfire restoration project, the work is - at a guess - one third done..........

When I saw this Auction, I actually emailed the seller to congratulate them on their work and wish them luck !!

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Forgive me if I break any rules here

Just to add, (ahem cough cough) This is the sort of thing our Gov't need to see to wake them up to the reality of Classic Car ownership is about.......

Seems a shame to have gone so far with it to then give up.
He won't get as much as it's really worth selling unfinished project, but if needs must good luck to him.

Bit puzzled about his comment " done to a higher standard than Concourse"

Concourse is "original spec" If I recall correctly, he went beyond originallity, ie Stainless steel bolts etc etc

Just my idea.......lol.

But isnt it beautiful...........Just that chassis alone.........

In the Concourse events I've observed, the Entrants have always been far shinier than they ever would have been from the factory !

Wow! It would have been nice to see it all finished if all done to that standard.
