Top of gear lever come off
The little bit at the top of the gear level on my 2002 Rover 75 CDT Club Tourer has come off - little plastic tabs sheared:

A good dose of araldite 2 part mix should sort it. have you tried it . ?

No, not tried it. Haven't tried anything yet, because I didn't want to create a mess which would get in the way of a proper fix if it didn't work. You say Araldite but I'm assuming any 2 part epoxy should do the job? I'll give it a go.

i would imagine so. im not sure if they list certain araldite products for different classes of bonding.should be able to see on ebay whats available.

Looks like the generic epoxy resin I had in the shed has done the job. There's presumably not a lot of force applied in the area, so I imagine it should hold.

oh well thats good news. i was going to suggest just a few small blobs in a circle in the centre should hold well enough.
