I discovered the same problem on mine. As they were a bit chipped and pot marked I have gotten some new ones on order.
Thought I would give the superglue method a go on the existing ones as I have several different viscosities of cyano in the fridge. The suck test revealed all and hissing was evident before the glue treatment. Pretty much nailed it me thinks!!

Years ago when I owned Classic Cars, they had proper glass lenses and would regularly fog due to the different temperature changes. You could take them apart and water would pour out, with my late Father we tried several ways of trying to stop this. The method we finally got to work was to coat the inside of the lens to prevent the condensation from sticking to the inside of the lens. (I don't have any pictures but I do remember what we did) Whether it would work with a plastic lens I don't know but it would be worth a go on a pair you have previously used. 1. We applied Duck Oil evenly to the inside of the lens by using a cotton bud. 2. Drilled a 2mm hole at the lowest point of the casing for any water that collected. 3. Applied vaseline to the electrical connection. I remember we removed the light unit and did the work on the kitchen table, Mum wasn't amused but so long as we cleaned up she let us carry on. Many times stuff was done on the kitchen table, does bring back fond memories.
