Default Neptune blue

So do any ZT owners have a neptune blue interior (the centre console and plastic trim parts from a Rover 75) in their car?
Curious to know how it looks

Cheers

Andrew

Probably as wrong as it's possible to be, in my eyes I think it would be fairly jarring, but if you want to try it out, it's only the dashboard that is the slightly awkward bit of the job

Why not indeed, a lot of us seem to be doing strange stuff at the minute.

Hi, i am in the process of doing exactly that, ive a 190 ztt in monogram nocturne, it has the wooden dash/steering wheel from the factory and the option of oxford leather! so it does look slightly 75ish inside compared to the standard zt.

Although im really happy with the car and it is immaculate inside and out i do find that the seats being almost white do not really match the dark door cards, so i thought about changing the door cards for the sandstone ones from a 75, but then seen some pictures of the neptune blue interior and thought it would be a nice colour match for the exterior but keeping my oxford seats, so a kind of blue cream and walnut mix.

So i managed to purchase a full neptune interior minus the seats at a fantastic price in wonderful condition, and as we speak are in the process of fitting in, everything has been stripped and as everything is out im also doing the sunroof drain tube mod the handbrake mod and many interior upgrades.

The door cards have been fully stripped and when these restrictions have been lifted i will hopefully be able to source some leather to match the oxford seats?.

when all this has been done i will post pictures on here and as per your original question you will be able to see, im sure it wont be to everybodys taste but thats the joy of car modification, something a little different!.

Default Neptune Blue

I am interested to see also how this comes together (though sadly don't use Instagram!)

Slightly off topic, but I encountered an MGR press car looking quite sorry for itself.

The seats were grubby, but 75 Oxford leather piped in aubergine with aubergine switch skirts, and aubergine carpet, dash and door cards.

I reckon the Oxford leather in the ZTT will look good with Neptune trimmings, it looks always looks downright odd next to ash grey.

Anyway, here's a couple of pictures.

Exquisite colour combo!!
.. aubergine and oxford really go with the body colour.
