He said that Africa is a sh hole and I am to look out for myself when I am there. He still goes to Legionnaire meets on Remembrance Day. When he joined up, he had no educational qualifications, but by the time he left, his education improved and he did well, later on his career changed from guns to education. He went onto become Dean of the Medical School at the Royal Free Hospital in North London, that’s where I met him
20 years ago. He is fully retired, but keeps in touch with his army mates. My advice for what it is worth, is to stick with the UK for now and apply to the Legionaries if you think you would like it.
Just been reading now about Rwanda Genocide and Jesus Christ I never knew how bad things went

the war between the Tutsis and Hutus.

Very graphic and after reading the history it turn out that Belgium favoured the Tutsis the tribe, they thought they were the elites and that was during the 1030's and 50's and the hutu felt inferior compare too there rival tribe,
On April 6, 1994 Juvénal Habyarimanawas shot down close to Kigali International Airport. His assassination ignited ethnic tensions in the region and helped spark the Rwandan Genocide.

Your friend must have been though hell.

This is a curved ball and I hope I don't cause offence as none is intended. From what I have read of various threads you want to work.

How about the docks at Liverpool or elsewhere? To far to travel daily.

Hiya mate no offense at all, I'm already in work and work 5 days a week for Menzies distribution.

Its not so that I'm desperate for work in fact I'm trying too find something that I can do and enjoy it, I'll always wanted join the army it was something I was very passionate about and really tried my hardest too get in.

With the army won't take me on I thought about doing something else instead with sort same lifestyle as the army.

tantallon and Gatekeeper mentioned about the French forin legion, it has been in my mind before but I wasn't too sure if I was in a way aborning my own country too join a other nation's armed forces, but looking more into it I realise now that my assumption were wrong and in fact many nationality's from different walks of life join and serve the legion.

Race

Creed

Ideology doesn't a mean a thing at all everyone works together a whole.

I want too better myself and push my limits I want too see where I can go in life be able too say yes I did my best triumph or defeat at least I can say I did my best, if I don't do it now I'll never know for sure if it could have been or not I've got too try.
