I have finally fixed the boot leaks in my 01 Connie. The water was running from the gutter under the boot lid into the rear lights which were filling until the tide level reached a point where it spilled into the boot.

I have solve the problem by removing the lights and applying Silicon sealer liberal around the metal then refitting the lights squeezing the sealer between the body and the gasket.

We hav had plenty of rain since with no water leaks.

Cheers
