![]() I have just recieved the lead below
http://www.toysinyourcar.com/acatalog/rov_av_cam.htm And intend to connect a reversing camera i have fitted. Most of the connections are obvious but i am not sure on the white wire. I proposed to take a +ve feed to the camera from the reversing lamp. Is this feed also to be connected to the white wire from the lead? I am not sure as no instructions came with lead. Edit: I have just seen that it has a tag saying 'for camera switching (ground) on the white lead One end is just the wire the other end has a tiny connector on it that looks as if it should be in one of the sockets on the plug. I have been waiting for this since the 3rd june and any emails i send the supplier bounce back so it seems help from that quarter may be a bit difficult. ![]() Well not the most successful evening.
After a bit of searching I found this thread. https://the75andztclub.co.uk/forum/s...ad.php?t=36376 Great I thought just the job. I waited for the light to go off on the satnav and set to work. I got it all wired up correctly ( as I thought) Turned on the ignition but all I got was the hint of a backlight showing on the screen and nothing else. I checked everything then found that I had connected the white wire to pin 2 on the blue plug ! ![]() Not sure if I have goosed the unit or if there is anything I can try. The only other thing I noted that as I connected up to the reversing light the satnav woke up. I waited till the led went off again before I continued. If anyone more clued up on the Hiline has any suggestions I am all ears. |
