Hi Ben
Driver side foot well right hand side behind the panel that the bonnet pull is attached, you will need to remove that to get to it pic below of what you are looking for white box encased in a metal frame, which needs a special five sided torx tool.

Haven't yet checked the EWS, but got the broken crank sensor out ok with a slide hammer, and new one now fitted. Car starts ok at the minute, so an intermittent fault somewhere.

Thanks to everyone for their assistance with this. Very much appreciated.
