Hi Alan,

Yes the VIN numbers I listed above are correct according to their registration plates on the Xpart EPC.....that is except for S392 DEH, which as I stated, didn't show up in the EPC (some reg's don't) So I can't confirm what the actual VIN number is for the car .

The only person who could accurately give the VIN number for that car, as well as the build date, would be Xpart02, who has access to a much larger database.

With regard to which S reg is the oldest in the club, as far as I'm aware it goes as follows:

1) S909 XDA (Roverowner) LHD export model VIN 001149 Built 12/11/98

2) S750 LJW (GateKeeper) VIN 001194 Built 24/11/1998

3) S525 OVP (The Clubs S Reg) VIN 001196 Built 25/11/1998

4) T78 MOA (Rabett_Rover) VIN 001482 Built 13/01/1999

5) S550 AOX (Jezzer 1) VIN 001483 Built 13/01/1999

6) S594 AOX (Scouse1958) VIN 001492 Built 14/01/1999

7) S573 AOX (ukmoobs) VIN001493

8) T499 JOP (Starman's saloon) VIN 001801 Built 02/03/1999

Interesting, such a shame some of these were owned by fools who would break or scrap them for something like a clutch problem or HGF.
I'm getting confused now, S932 DEH or S392 DEH? Two different cars yeah?

I think that was just a typo, and we are talking about the one car S392 DEH. As a matter of completeness neither of those reg's appear in the EPC for VIN checking.

Many thanks for clarifying this,i spent a bit of time trying to get the build dates correct,i believe their is about twenty of these cars still in circulation.

Thanks. Even though you´ve changed the numbers around again I take it that S -9-32 DEH Vin 197 is something Martin Green fished up from somewhere.....

S-3-92 DEH is apparently about as the OP says it´s for sale. The owner has stated that it has VIN 1159

As most of us know X-Part bought the data base for the build dates. They have been very accomodating in giving out the build dates of members cars.

-i believe their is about twenty of these cars still in circulation.- Would be interesting to know what you base that on PAB
