Sure is Freddie - I think Spring's development has just crunched to a halt. I've been out in the garage all afternoon, and my nose feels as if it's got frostbite. Justb been cursing some screws (bought from Screwfix). Using an 18 volt driver, with the torque setting down to 15 (out of 20) - and the heads are breaking off before they are tight into rawlplugs in the brick wall

Our lodgers are living in a paper bag ... but hopefully, not for much longer.

Cool

Sure was a biting wind today even with the sun out. I'm clearing the old toot out of the garden. Be at least two trips to the tip tomorrow.

Are you still on your travels Hristo?

You are right about the planet being amazing Tomorrow we are heading into the bush up north. With hunters/poachers often ending up being executed on sight, the elephant population has increased to 32,000. We enjoy getting out whenever we can and get to see some of the wildlife. I took the photo below last year in Tsavo.

Hi Philip,
Unfortunately no. That was at the weekend as mine usually are.
I`m at work like everybody else.
Post here or in a special thread your photos as I`m keen on wild world. Both flora & fauna.
I`m keen on David Attenborough too - I read his books since a child.

Cheers & Good Night!

We had a laundry helper today

I hope I've not used up all my luck! A youtube channel I follow was giving away a T-Shirt in a draw & for the first time ever my username came out & I won it

I think I'll still get a lotto ticket tomorrow

Not sure about leg numbers but they are wasps Richard. They had them for years next door, they couldn't get rid of them as they were firmly nested somewhere under their concrete drive. Their drive was broken up in recent years when they had an extension built, presumably their builders were not aware of the wasps before they disturbed their nest or more than likely not fussed about the likely outcome. If a nest is not neutralised (cough!) before it is disturbed the occupants are like Zulus in the first instance ... there can be thousands of the blighters in a nest.

In the second instance they may well regroup and set up shop again in a very nearby location, if not on the same property then perhaps some unsuspecting neighbour's.
