Cheers.
PS. any wiring diagrams to be kept simple please, very simple
The wires you need from the infra red box are
Blue/purple and black
Green/white is 12 volt positive so do not use!!
You can remove the box if you want, just make sure the green/white wire is insulated so it doesn't short out .

Then connect these two to your two steering wheel wires on the head unit, they will only work one way round, I found that the wrong functions worked on mine one way and nothing the other way, so after getting something to work I then went into the app and set the correct functions up

Similar to my 6cm depth DD unit here... There was no need to support the rear of the unit due to it being so light and slim (only 6cm in depth), its a different story with the RunGrace full size CD/DVD unit measuring 16cm.

Dallas can I ask how you slid the unit into the facia, as I slid mine in from the front till the units black front panel hits the facia, but looking at yours it would seem that you took enough out from the facia so the units black front sits in the facia rather than butting up against it

The photo above is not the RunGrace DD, that is another model that only measures 60mm in depth, so it was very easy to get that factory flush look.

The full size DD with DVD I had to fit in from the front, pushes in until the DD front panel touches the fascia as you say. The DD does sit slightly proud at the top due to the curvature of the Rover fascia, but it clears the brow perfectly.

How much angle do you have, maybe your DD is tilted too much.

Thanks mine sits out the half inch at the top and bottom when the black edge of the front of the head unit touches the curve of the facia

It shouldn't stick out at the bottom, that would mean your DD is tilting backwards way too much, and why your brow gets in the way. The DD should fit flush at the bottom and up the sides, sticks out 10mm at the top under the brow.

Yes, I have that plug, so what wires are to be joined to it? Wires spare on the DD loom? or wires from the plug on my white box? I told you it had to be simples
