Dash light issue - Help please near Coningsby.
Hello all,
Looking for a little advice/help on my 54' Rover 75 Cdti, it's been a fantastic car and is immaculate for its age really. Although high mileage I'd like to get this sorted, mainly because my wife drives it most of the time and with it getting dark it's becoming a bit dangerous. All interior backlighting has cut out and won't return, this includes - dash lights, heater switch lights and auto column lights. I've had the LCU out and reseated it, then swapped it with another identical cars to check, nothing. There is no blockage in the drain holes by the bonnet. If anyone can tell me which system is responsible for these lights to all go at once and some other places I can look I would be grateful. Also anyone with T4 near RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire that knows what they are doing would be great too! Look forward to your replies. Luke |

I wonder if it could be the light dimming control, its normally a variable resistor and may have gone open circuit.
