Default E Mail problem ???

Just got a new laptop with Windows Vistsa Utimate with Outlook 2003 for E Mail.

On a few occasions recently peeps have tried to respond to e mails sent by me by clicking reply on my e mAIL. The result has been mail undeliverable .

It appears that in each case my e mail address has had the fifth letter of each word in the address removed eg:

My email (sender) [email protected]. has been changed to [email protected]. by the time it arrives.

Since this has happened to several unconnected people I am now looking at my own setup or provider.

Is this a new enhancement of Windows or Outlook ???

Has anyone else been having this problem with Tiscali ??

Sounds odd. Are you sure you entered the email address correctly when you first set up the account in Outlook?

go to Tools, Accounts, click on the relevant account and check the reply email address is correct.

This would be the most likely solution so it is worth checking first.

I can't see any reason why the provider would be to blame, all that sort of stuff is handled by the email client.

Now if someone can tell me where my Adobe Acrobat 8 program disc is, last seen in December last year when it was put with all other program discs, my day would be complete.

Thanks John but I think I need version 8 as I believe that is only one that works with Vista and even that needed a small upgrade to make it fully functional when I first got it last November.

I know my original disc must be in the house somewhere cos I rarely throw anything out - just ask SWMBO. Got a copy of Photoshop elements at the same time and can find that but ACrobat
