I can understand your frustration. As a photo of the flying Scotsman, it's a shame the train is so far away, but as a generic steam train photo, I think it's all the better as it is - there's some really nice detail in the shot that would be lost if the train were nearer. A terrific photo, you should be proud of your efforts.
