I, with a work mate, made four of them a few years back. We knew a guy who built a couple of full size Daleks around invalid scooters and he asked if we could make some arms. They're made from stainless steel, aluminium and brass and were machined and fabricated in the workshop where I used to work. One went to America, two were built into the guys Daleks and the last one I have.
The guy took one to a sci-fi convention and people went mad for it, we could have sold loads of them but, they took so many hours to make and we were doing them in our lunch breaks

The one that went to America, we sold on ebay and got over £300 for it

It didn't cost us a penny to make as we used off-cuts from the scrap bins

it's lovely quality. wouldn't suit my dalek though as that's an NSD gun. I have a classic dalek.
