MG ZT CDTI 2004 Mark 1 *Sold*
NOW SOLD
For sale my MG ZT CDTi. I’ve owned this car for nearly 5 years and has been my daily drive for my 50 mile commute. Car is mechanically sound with lots of work done, see below. She is certainly not a concourse example but as a solid reliable car she is fine. All the usual dings for a car with 169k on the clock. I’ve serviced the car every year since ownership, there are stamps up to 110k in the handbook. Next service is due in May Car now has a full MOT valid until 07/04/2017 There is a second key done by BigRuss but it is still blank, needs cutting. All the electronic \ pairing work has been done though. I’ve tried to be as honest I can with the description, if you have any question please send me a PM. Price reduced to £500. I'd like this car to go to a member but if no takers within a couple of days then it is off to Ebay as I have very limited space. The GOOD: Recent new clutch Slave and Master LUK parts, fitted Oct 2015, plate not changed as previous Brit Part slave failed after 15k. Plate has now done about 22k. New Rear Monroe Shocks Aug 2015 Rear anti roll bar bushes and drop links 2015. 160 Remap done by MarinaBrian UBP replaced in 2014 ITP pump unit swapped out in 2014 Wingy EGR by pass Stainless Steel Decat PCV swapped for none filter, service free part. Back discs, pads, shoes replaced in 2015 Mintex Front Discs and pads done in 2014 Pagid WinCE double Din Dash Cam installed Tow bar, working electrics. I’ll throw in a tail board with reg plate. All I’ve used this for is a tow ball mounted bike rack. OS Rear upper arm replaced in August 2015 Two good rear tyres 6mm, Chinese though Gold Fan resistor fitted Viton O-Rings on intercooler. Artic Handbrake compensator. PowerFlex lower mount. The BAD: Small area of bubbling surface rust on offside rear arch near bumper (See pic) Cracked paint on bumper, where somebody I’m guessing in a 4x4 has pushed it. Must have been a high vehicle or they would have hit the tow bar. Bumper not deformed just paint cracked. (See pic) Usual issue with driver seat bolster Front wheels have 225/40/18 winter tyres on, Michelin Alpine 4mm. I will throw in a couple of Hairpins 1 has a 225/45/18 tyre (Chinese) the other is a bare rim. Usual body work dings for a car that has done nearly 170000 miles. Air Con needs re-gassing. Back box is original, outer skin going, inner skin fine, not blowing that I am aware of. Hairpins really need a refurb.

Hi All,
Just an update for those interested. Car failed MOT on O\S Wishbone ball joint. I've ordered one and will fit it tomorrow and get re-test sorted. I've ordered a mount as well, see what condition the current one is, if looking dodgy I'll change that as well. Car will have a full ticket from tomorrow. Any questions just PM me. Cheers Ian

I replaced both the wishbone and the bush, the old bush showed signs of cracking but was still intact. I really need this car gone, due to lack of space so I am willing to accept £500 for it. If no takers within a couple of days then off to Ebay it goes. Cheers Ian
